Adam

Adam (Hebrew for ‘man’) was the first human being created by God. Genesis 2:7 states that God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him. He was warned by God not to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17) but, after his wife Eve tasted the forbidden fruit, Adam also ate (Genesis 3:6). Due to this sin, Adam and Eve were sent out of Eden (Genesis 3:23-24). Adam lived 930 years (Genesis 5:5)
